Jim Crotts, founder of Lawnscope in 1981, and co-founder of Eagle Putting Greens. In 1989, He learned about "synthetic golf greens" from Wake Forest University and was fascinated with the revolutionary synthetic product... Need we say more?

 

 

Jimmy Crotts, my son and co-founder of Eagle Putting Greens, graduated from North Carolina State University in 1991. He worked at Landfall, Wilmington, NC, during the construction of the Jack Nicklaus golf course and worked as a golf course superintendent for an eighteen-hole, three-par golf course (bent grass greens) for one year.

 

      
Eagle Putting Greens emerged as a subsidiary of Lawnscope, which was founded in 1981. As the putting green industry became more popular and demanding, endorsed by many of the PGA Touring Pros, our concentration shifted to building more and more "synthetic golf greens" - so we changed our name to Eagle Putting Greens in 1992. This allowed us to bring forward our knowledge and expertise in artistic designs for: Landscapes, Hardscapes and Water Features.

We work hard to fill the needs of our customers by combining our services into complete packages. Our customers are excited when they learn that they can contract with Eagle Putting Greens for all of their outdoor projects.
